Ozone Plates
Ozone plates
We always have in stock original and aftermarket ozone plates (also known as purifier plates) for EcoQuest air purifiers. We strongly suggest going for original ozone plates, because they last longer (up to 2 times more) while producing optimal amounts of active oxygen (O3).Ozone is a perfect and efficient weapon for neutralizing various airborne contaminants like fetid odors, cooking fumes, smoke, and so on. In addition to that, it also eliminates viruses, airborne and surface germs, bacteria, mold, and mildew. Active oxygen filling the air becomes a universal sanitizer and renders your whole indoor environment clean and safe.
Ozone plates we’re using in our air purifiers do require some periodical cleaning, but it is nothing to be afraid of. These plates can be cleaned in warm soapy water using a simple toothbrush. Remember to do this procedure regularly, at least once per month or even more, if you are using your air purifier in extreme harsh conditions daily. Do not apply excessive pressure and handle ozone plates gently to prevent breaking or cracking, thus rendering them useless and no longer serviceable.
Before installing ozone plates make sure that they are washed and properly dried. Another useful tip to remember - clean the holding slots at the corners of the plate card cage; nothing special, just one simple cotton swab soaked in alcohol will do the trick just perfectly. After that you’re ready to put that ozone plate where it belongs.
